Wildlife Conversations

I was very honoured to be welcomed onto Jen’s podcast where we spoke out all things safari, cheetah conservation and finding the perfect light - amongst other things.

Landscape Photography World Podcast
with Grant Swinbourne
With Grant’s characteristic Australian sense of humour and charm, we had a lot of fun on this podcast and could have talked for hours! Our discussion centred a lot on how using the landscape can really tell a story about which destination you are in and add authenticity to the story-telling.
We also discussed my photographic evolution over time and how I love incorporating different techniques like ICM and slow-shutter speed into my work and teaching, as well as the realities of the industry — the algorithm pressures of social media, the severe toll tourism shutdowns took on local communities, and the logistical demands of running a photography business.

“A former accountant turned full-time photographer and guide, Laura's story is one of deliberate reinvention — and a deepening attention to the natural world.”
