About

Wildlife | Nature

Photography

As a wildlife photographer, I love nothing more than being out in the wild searching for that perfect shot. Wildlife isn’t staged. It cannot be managed and things can happen in nano-seconds.

There is nothing more thrilling and invigorating than looking through my viewfinder and seeing the natural world in such detail creating a perfect moment of clarity when everything else fades away into the background.

Every safari is different and every experience unique, but common to all of them is the wonder inherent in every moment. Every glance up from a leopard, every mother’s touch of the nose to her cub, every flex of muscle as a cheetah speeds across the plain and the spray of a hippo coming up to breathe.

The natural world is so perfect and all we can do is be there to hopefully capture one moment.

Photographic Guide

I offer scheduled group safaris, as well as privately guided bespoke photographic safaris where I will plan and arrange the perfect trip for you, as well as act as a guide and teacher, improving your photography and understanding of the natural world while we journey together.

I love teaching guests how to capture those perfect moments on safari and seeing their faces light up when using a new technique or nailing a shot for the first time - creating memories that last a lifetime. It is a real privilege for me to see and be a part of these experiences and I absolutely love it.

With over two decades experience in the bush and spending time with wildlife across multiple continents and seasons I can help you to both understand and photograph the beauty in the natural world we share.
